About

Alan is a graphic and motion design that creates elegance and distinction through simplicity. From branding and identity to motion graphics, Alan creates fascinating results by reducing color and form to the bare bones.

He is also the designer, organizer, and host for ArtCenter’s Design Speaker Series, where he invited and hosted over 20 renowned designers from around the world and designed over 5 extensive campaigns for the series.

With versatility at its core, the rebranding of ENCO Group Studio to ENCO INTERNATIONAL LIMITED embraces a dynamic approach. Utilizing a vibrant and adaptable color palette, bold typographic style, and striking motion elements, the new identity system is crafted to harness contrast, hierarchy, and flexibility. This ensures not only a timeless presence but also the ability to evolve alongside changing trends.

By pushing fundamental design components—color, composition, typography, and imagery—to their extremes, this approach creates a visually striking and complex identity for ArtCenter’s Spring 2024 Motion Connect event, capturing attention and redefining the capabilities of simplicity.

museum of contemporary photography

The new identity system for the museum of contemporary photography is all about embracing simplicity. This doesn't mean sacrificing impact or aesthetics but rather reducing the design to its core elements. By doing so, the brand is able to communicate its message more effectively and build a deeper connection with its audience. Whether it's designing posters, animations, stationaries, or installations, this identity system leverages its simplicity to spark creativity and encourage new possibilities for the institution and its audience. Ultimately, becoming an adaptive system designed to stand against time.
