Hi ~ I’m Xinru Fog — a game artist with a Master’s degree in Game & Media Design from The Royal Danish Academy. I currently work as a concept artist at Tactile Games, focusing on 2D illustration and concept design for characters, environments, and the visual structure of overall game flows. From early ideation to production-ready assets, I take a flexible visual approach, using a wide range of tools and pipelines to support cohesive game development.

"Homing" is a third-person exploration prototype built in Unreal Engine 5. It investigates diegetic navigation—how light, rhythm, and spatial cues guide players without traditional UI. Set in Arboran, a stylized ecosystem lifted from the sea by a colossal tree, the game unfolds across five levels. I developed the concept art, art bible, 3D assets, blueprints, lighting, and character animation. This project represents a full solo production pipeline—from conceptual design and worldbuilding to technical execution—bridging artistic vision and interactive design.
