About
My name is Stavroula, and I am a Greek artist currently pursuing a career in visual development for the entertainment industry.Through my fantastical stories and characters, I wish to spark thought provoking reactions and feelings, deeply inspired by the complex nature of the world and the human experience. I am always eager to learn more, and connect with other terrific artists and designers!
“The Reckoner; an eldritch demon of great intelligence, able to harness the power of the sun.” When one thinks of the sun, they might come up with ideas of warmth, life, and creation. In this creature design project, I wished to explore the side of the sun which we sometimes overlook; one of fire, death, and destruction. This project features a monster clay maquette created with the intention of live action creature design. It took me the entirety of my senior year to gather all components of concept design, sculpting and presentation for the project. All photography is credited to the wonderful Mei Kobayashi!
