Enjoying every part of the design process, I love to see how an idea evolves and develops over time. With great attention to detail, I strive to create simple yet highly considered products that are responsibly designed, flexible to user needs and ensure longevity.
Demand for British-made products is increasing since consumers are becoming more conscious of their purchasing habits. Hex is a lightweight and sleek dining chair designed for easy, local and sustainable production, considering the UK’s current manufacturing industry. Made from plywood and crafted using a CNC machine, a single standard 1220x2440mm board offers three chairs with minimal waste. The material’s laminated construction creates visual interest at the joints and edges, elevating its appearance. Fitting seamlessly into the modern home, the chair’s simple design is constructed from just six interlocking pieces and assembled with adhesive to ensure a straightforward manufacturing process.
