PEPPERMINT DESERT is a surreal action-adventure road trip through hell. It's the story of Mickey and Saturday, two bandits who always seem to have luck on their side. Their dumb luck has bought them a trunk full of dollars and a set of wheels that might outrun the Devil himself (and it's gonna have to do just that). They're seeking to turn a new leaf and use their talents to deliver a small fortune to an orphanage smack dab in the middle of a red barren wasteland. Fate has been kind to them, but their luck will run out when they enter the candy-colored hellscape that is the PEPPERMINT DESERT. Peppermint Desert is a 40-page action adventure comic book written and illustrated by myself, Sean Peacock. Over the course of my senior year at the College for Creative Studies, I wrote the story, developed the characters, and conceptualized the surreal, americana-infused world of the book. The artwork was pencilled and inked traditionally with a sable brush and zebra brush pens, and then finished digitally. After graduating, I got a limited-edition 100-copy print run made through my local printer and self-published the book by selling it at local comic book stores and promoting it via a social media campaign. The full 40-page book is available in print and digital editions on my ko-fi shop: https://ko-fi.com/allsorrows/shop
