About
Ruotong Liu studied painting and advertising as an undergraduate and studied children's illustration at Goldsmith. After graduation, she joined a painting studio to create with her friends, and has worked for half a year. She enjoys sketching and writing and likes to use bright colors to paint beautiful pictures in her creations.
This project called ”ME AND MY OWL MOTHER", These four illustration inspired by my own experience of playing the piano. The content is about the deviation of self-memory. I exaggerated this memory and drew what I thought my mother looked like when I was a child and what my mother looked like when I grew up. I chose four scenes as the main story that were the most impressive, which were mother watching me practice the piano behind, guests visiting my h- ouse to listen to my performance, father giving me a gift and the scene when I avoided practice.

This story tells the story of a small night cap named Star, who far away from his master Julie, takes an adventure on his own, overcoming difficulties without meeting many good friends and finally returning to Julie's side. The story conveys bravery, friendship and self-growth. I've chosen the best six to five.
