Crafted Discomfort confronts the tension between vulnerability and defence, exploring the quiet fear of genuine connection. Rooted in personal experience, the collection reflects the emotional risk of opening oneself to trust, where care and discomfort become inseparable. Anti-fit silhouettes emerge from the body in moments of unease; pleats, compression, and exaggerated shoulders translating gestures of protection and exposure. Drawing on 1980s power suiting, traditional codes of masculinity are reworked through upcycling, zero-waste pattern cutting, and precise tailoring, questioning strength as something rigid or impermeable. A shifting palette mirrors this duality, balancing restraint with moments of intensity. Through a gender-fluid lens, the work navigates the space between hardness and softness, stoicism and vulnerability, where masculinity’s armour meets femininity’s openness. In their convergence, edges soften, revealing that strength lies not in resistance, but in the courage to be seen.
Suspended dreams tells the story of a beautifully tired princette preparing for bed in Dreamland. Their wardrobe is a collection of garments inspired by sleepwear and the modular, immersive artworks of Olafur Eliasson and Christopher Bauder. Softness meets structure in a dialogue of contradicting textures, challenging the idea that femininity is tied to gender. With a maximalist spirit drawn from vibrant music Alok Vaid-Menon, the collection embraces bold colours, fluid silhouettes, and layered details that blur the line between loungewear and art. Each piece evokes both comfort and performance, turning bedtime ritual into personal expression. This is more than sleepwear- it's a journey through identity, rest, and resistance. As the pricette dresses down, the collection invites us to dress intention, softness, and joy
