I'm seeking approaches towards an ecological change as a desginer, maker and human. Both autonomous and functional, my main goal is to restore the harmonious balance that once existed between man and nature.
My diploma work is a critical design project that aims to make the extent of human interventions in the Lake Balaton area visually meaningful and tangible. This region is one of the areas where the adverse ecological impact of human interventions in Hungary is most evident. The scientific basis of the work is provided by the data physicalization methodology, which I combined with the narrative of dysfunctional objects to sensitize. Each set of tableware shows ecologically important datas of different coastal municipalities, eg. Badacsonytomaj or Balatonfüred. With this project I also aim to draw attention to the fragility of our wider environment, the biosphere, and to transcend our anthropocentric worldview.
