About
I am a New York born and raised illustrator with a deep curiosity of the world and how to combine my experiences with my artwork. after four years at the Fashion institute of technology, I am excited to enter the illustration industry and show the world what I’m capable of.
Growing up in rural New York and spending my young adult life in NYC has played a big roll in developing my art style by incorporating a great amount of inspiration from Nature and People. I rely on a childlike wonder to form concepts, and refine these ideas using the skills I’ve learned over the years. Some themes explored in my artwork include food, gigantism, female empowerment and magic. I in both traditional and digital mediums, but mainly gouache when traditional and procreate when digital.
Based on the recollection of a faerie encounter that was anonymously submitted to a faerie encounter archive. “I had experienced a couple of strokes in May 1999 and had come home to convalesce”. As she rested at home, little faeries would come to her and sit on the window ledge and she would pretend to stay asleep so she could watch them. She credits the faeries for helping her heal during this time.
