I'm an Interaction Designer from Donegal, now in Dublin, Ireland. I enjoy identifying and solving user problems with empathy-driven designs.
By emphasising empathy and collaboration, I am committed to developing solutions that address the real needs of children and parents, ensuring they remain connected in meaningful ways.
‘Night ‘n Day’ facilitates regular communication between parents and children living apart. It enables direct contact between parent and child, fostering meaningful connections and tailoring to busy schedules. Picture a device placed in a child’s bedroom, allowing them to exchange messages with their parent, saying good morning or night, even when they are miles apart. Additionally, parents have 24-hour access to an app they can use in any location. Further testing revealed that this product is particularly beneficial for divorced or separated families, parents with long commutes, those working abroad, or any parent who cannot be physically present for bedtime. Night ‘n Day aims to help families regardless of family dynamics or location. By emphasising empathy and collaboration, I am committed to developing solutions that address the real needs of children and parents, ensuring they remain connected in meaningful ways.
