I graduated from Goldsmiths University of London, summer 2024 with a Fine Art degree. I was one of the 2024 winners of the Wardens Prize for my final degree show.
I work mainly in an autobiographical manner that from a outsider perspective can be seen as a narrative of living as a trans woman in the UK. My work covers a lot of mediums that are always changing and developing with my experiences and the process of living.
My practice is multi disciplinary. I work with ceramics, metal, wood, 3D print spray-paint and digital work although my final degree show focused on ceramics and sculpture.
In my final degree show each piece had its own individual story based on honest opinions experiences and mental anguish but as a collective it is was a diary of my mind, thoughts and emotions based around the difficulty of living as a trans woman. The majority of the work in the show was ceramics and the big life sized body being made out of, metal, wood and paper mache. Each piece came about due to my use of automatism.
