I graduated in Interior Design at IED Madrid
Ama Pura focuses on creating a system of environments dedicated to design as therapy, promoting creativity and personal expression to improve the mental health of Generation Z and all residents in rural areas. Located in the Central Pacific Region of Costa Rica, this project addresses the shortage of mental health services, starting with a pilot center in Palo Seco. Local residents, including Generation Z youth and people of other ages, actively participate in building spaces using local materials and techniques, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Ama Pura aims to democratize mental health through self-construction and the creative use of the environment, establishing a replicable model for other rural communities.
