Rite : Building persistent writing habits for Adult learners.
Rite explores the act of writing among adult learners, particularly in ESOL education (English for Speakers of Other Languages). The pen attachment tracks the progress of writing to build a persistent writing habit. It aims to motivate learners to write more and also help tutors monitor progress more effectively. The objective is to introduce the benefits of digital technologies into adult education without compromising the analog experience, thereby creating tools that enhance learning and bridge gaps in accessibility. Tutors can set writing goals, and monitor progress and writing behaviours to create personalised lessons and activities.
