About
I am a textile artist for interiors, I create tactile surfaces through the use of cording and quilting to accompany my printed elements.
This project is inspired by the mountainous landscapes of Snowdonia in Wales and the local surrounding villages. I created observational drawings, paintings and collages depicting scenery from the areas that I visited and developed these into final pieces. I used the contours of the mountains alongside architectural shapes to create joyful, tactile and interesting fabrics, wallpapers and woods.

This is from my final year at AUB, I used a combination of print and stitch techniques to create final samples. I took inspiration from the architecture that I saw in my local town, Winchester. This project contains elements of quilting and tactile surfaces to boost wellbeing and comfort within an interior space.
