This project was based on a live brief set by Hallmark, and I chose to design a range of greeting cards specifically for kids. My goal was to create cards that are both educational and entertaining, allowing children to engage independently, giving parents or guardians a welcome break from home-schooling during lockdown. Observing that Gods and Goddesses are part of the KS2 curriculum, I decided to focus on Roman Mythology to ensure the project connects with the historical significance of Bath. All the cards when they’re lined up together look like the front of a temple which is great for a puppet show and this could make the cards collector’s items, so they have to buy all 6 in order to create the temple.
