About
I'm 23 years old videographer from Vilnius, Lithuania. This summer I have graduated Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, Netherlands. I was always a visual thinker, who finally fell in love with filmmaking. But at the same time, I don't want to constrict myself within one category. I just love to talk and analyze topics that are important to me through the art. My practice is research through making and always trying to find new visual ways to tell a story.
In the bustling heart of a modern city, a young, career-driven man is consumed by his relentless climb up the social ladder. An unsettling experience with blinking elevator lights and looping floor numbers triggers his need for control, which culminates in frustration over a jigsaw puzzle piece that won't fit. This surreal moment transports him to the rugged mountains, where nature's harshness humbles him and strips away his illusions of control. Upon returning to city life, he finds inner peace and learns to accept life's inherent chaos. The puzzle piece in his hand transforms into snow, symbolizing his newfound understanding and tranquility.
