About

Multi-Disciplinary CreatorActive since 2020 with a resume of domestic and international projects, exhibitions and collaborations around the globe, her projects mainly focus on material experiments, exploring traditional crafts methodologies and technique, integrating digital tools into the process. On the seam between art and design; stretches the fine line between the two. Inspired by nature's colors, shapes, textures and mechanisms, allowing those to stand out and reduce human intervention to the necessary minimum. "I have a passion for small objects, but painting a big wall is kinda cool too ."

What would a relationship with a living object look like ? Material research of interactions between natural raw materials such as sand and stone, with a mineral-producing bacteria, has creates a collection of new, living materials. The bacteria bind the aggregates, solidifying the material into a unified entity that acts as a habitat in the form of an object, continues to re-shape and evolve over time, undergoes internal processes and responds to external stimuli like light and temperature. The therapeutic, ritualistic experience of caring for this object, which requires sustained nourishment and attention to thrive, fosters a unique relationship between the object and its owner. It’s a symbiotic, co-creative design process between humans and living organisms, that persists as long as life remains within it.
