About
Soon to be a Textile Design Graduate, specialising in weaving from Winchester School of Art, demonstrating a strong work ethic with current grades a First. Focused on the British Textile industry and fibres with an emphasis on sustainability. Strong communication skills and understanding of customer requirements after a prior career in property sales, which I developed while running a Bespoke Picture Frame business. I have skills in the latest technologies and techniques, as well as traditional processes and methods in weaving. Extensive knowledge of Poincare used to program TC2 to loom and create woven cloth simulations. Good Adobe suite skills, visualisations, and weave design programming for the TC2 loom. Clo3D.A passion FOR EXPANDING how far these skills can be developed to be used across the textile industry.
This collection explores society’s shifting perceptions of urban spaces and ecclesiastical architecture, focusing on London’s Leake Street, cathedral-stained glass, and Gerhard Richter's work. Colour palettes developed from site-specific photography and sustainably sourced fibres while considering those with colour vision deficiencies.
