RAe - An at home cervical screening device
Regular cervical screening can prevent cervical cancer, but 1 in 3 women aged 25-29 don't attend their appointments. This is because of the invasive nature of the current screening procedure. Rae is an at home cervical screening test that removes the embarrassment and discomfort from the current procedure. Rae tests for HPV, the causative agent of cervical cancer, and uses the familiar process of inserting a tampon, making it less daunting.
