About
All my life, I have been drawn to nature. I grew up in the countryside; my mom’s house is located next to a forest, and so is my dad’s. I care deeply about our connection to the earth, as well as human connection. In my work, I strive to visualize this. The human body has always fascinated me—how it moves, what can be communicated through body language, and its inherent beauty. This fascination led me to study Jewellery Design after obtaining my Photography degree.
THE FOREST I CHERISH explores the profound connection between humans and nature by honoring, preserving, and nurturing the forest next to my childhood home. This forest has deeply influenced me and inspires me to protect the earth. The project, arose from anger and fear about environmental damage, translates these feelings into positive action. I make wearable jewelry and objects from natural materials. By combining the transience of shadows and the durability of natural and recycled materials, I hope to have an impact on how we value and treat nature.
