About

Heshan Li is a Chinese jewelry designer and maker who graduated from the Fashion Artefact program at London College of Fashion in 2024. Her design philosophy merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary explorations of psychology, feminism, and multisensory experiences. Inspired by the complexities of human experience, her creates jewelry that transcends mere aesthetics, seeking to evoke emotional responses. Her work emphasizes tactile and visual engagement, encouraging deeper connections between the wearer and the piece. Her designs challenge conventional notions of adornment, transforming jewelry into a powerful tool for personal empowerment and self-expression. She is particularly interested in how jewelry can explore identity and redefine traditional narratives.

This collection can be used as both tool and jewelry. The jewelry can help female sexual arousal by rolling and sliding to bring sensual pleasure. Traditional sexual scripted narratives are not centred on women, ignoring female experiences and feelings. With this collection, the artist hopes to celebrate female sexual pleasure. The series uses silicone, silver and pearls to bring comfort and relaxation to the touch feelings. Thermochromic silicone changes color upon contact with the body when women use this collection, creating an interactive experience. The shapes of the series are created by making replicas of the erogenous zones of the female body and then blowing a series of prototypes on top of them using glass. From the breath exhaled from women’s body to the shapes applied to women’s body, It’s a beautiful cycle.
