About
I am a textile designer and am currently focussing on sustainable design through the use of innovative materials
My connection with nature and the environment underpins all my designs. I exhibited my work at the Tex Plus show in London and was recently shortlisted for the Only Natural Student Design Competition in the Interiors and Accessories category. Inspired by organic forms and microstructures in plants, I create delicate, ethereal textile sculptures using personalised knitting techniques. Sustainability is central to my work, as seen in my use of recycled paper yarns. These textiles, influenced by Japanese minimalist aesthetics, offer a simple, organic relationship with nature, suggesting applications in both fashion and interior contexts.
