I am a Product Designer with an interest in hands-on creation. My work ranges from blending traditional craftsmanship with modernity to focusing on sustainability, using materials such as clay and concrete. I am a versatile designer with a passion for continuous learning and exploration.
The future is handmade; FLAX, an engaging, contemporary lighting design. Inspired by traditional Greek basket weaving techniques, the FLAX DIY bedside table lamp brings together traditional Greek crafts and contemporary lightning design. Intertwining the past and present through juxtapositions created by the choice of materials and textures, FLAX was designed to pay homage to the skilled craftmanship of Mr. Vaggelis of Amorgos island. Perfect for the curious, craft lovers, the FLAX lamp is ready to weave from the box with easy-to-follow instructions bringing a touch of handmade elegance to the user’s space. Transforming any room with its captivating warm shadows, FLAX awards a sense of modernism originating from traditional crafting arts.
