About
Hey everyone,I am a Belgium jewellery designer that is exploring the possibilities in jewellery through different materials even materials that are not that common, by doing this I learn to have new insights in what is possible and how to develop my own style/language in jewellery.
Exndo comprises a unique collection of wearable jewellery. This collection explores the symbiosis between the exo- and endoskeleton, with a focus on the protective properties of the armour and skin in molluscs and mammals. The aim is to visualise protection in an artistic way, contrasting the rigid nature of the armour with the flexibility of the skin. Rigidity and flexibility are the essence of this project. Using various materials such as metal, leather and skin, a repetitive repetition of form and material is sought, thus creating a balance between flexibility and rigidity in the jewellery designs.
