About
Soon to be a Textile Design Graduate, specialising in weaving from Winchester School of Art, demonstrating a strong work ethic with current grades a First. Focused on the British Textile industry and fibres with an emphasis on sustainability. Strong communication skills and understanding of customer requirements after a prior career in property sales, which I developed while running a Bespoke Picture Frame business. I have skills in the latest technologies and techniques, as well as traditional processes and methods in weaving. Extensive knowledge of Poincare used to program TC2 to loom and create woven cloth simulations. Good Adobe suite skills, visualisations, and weave design programming for the TC2 loom. Clo3D.A passion FOR EXPANDING how far these skills can be developed to be used across the textile industry.
Escape to the Moon
In the current climate, when there only seems to be bad news the collection is about finding calm spaces to escape to. Where lousy news is filtered away. Taking inspiration from the moon’s surface and artist Jacob Van De Buegel. Using a colour spectrum of blue to purples, with ombre transitioning to cream and white. An environment of luxurious mystery while giving privacy in the urban environment.
