This project delves into the relationship between humans and objects, serving as a critique of an era dominated by mass consumption and digital interactions. Following a multidisciplinary investigation synthesized in two articles ("Aesthetic Experiences I & II"), I continued the process by reviving my grandmother’s sculpture workshop and repurposing a century-old wood-turning lathe. The combination of both theoretical and practical approaches culminated in DOT—a hand-made construction game that reclaims non-digital learning. DOT invites players to unleash their creative imagination using solid wooden turned pieces, offering a hands-on, sustainable alternative to today’s fleeting digital distractions. More than just a tool for imaginative play, DOT stands as a statement against the ephemeral nature of contemporary consumer culture, promoting sustainability and lasting value in design and education.
