About

Zhang Danxi is a graphic designer, photographer, and documentary filmmaker from China, currently residing in London. She is an alumni of the University of the Arts London, BA Graphic Design programme (2021-24). In my creative journey, I deeply enjoy engaging and interacting with people, establishing emotional connections with my audience through my works. I believe that everyone has a unique story, and the power of these stories can profoundly touch people's hearts. Therefore, I love to convey messages and inspire others through storytelling. Throughout my creative process, I not only focus on individual emotions and experiences but also pay attention to the feelings and resonance of under-represented communities. I aim to integrate art with real-life issues, presenting social topics, cultural phenomena, and the beauty of human nature through my works. I believe that good art should resonate with the audience, prompting them to think, reflect, and take action. Through my persistent efforts and creative practices, I hope to bring about positive impacts on society, raising awareness of the challenges and issues we face.

Diary of village doctor's work

Against the backdrop of uneven distribution of healthcare resources in present-day China, rural doctors spare no effort in supporting residents in areas with limited medical conditions. Through their daily work, we gain profound insights into the challenges faced by rural healthcare. This project aims to capture the work and lives of rural doctors, presenting their working environment and responsibilities. Additionally, it utilizes data analysis to illustrate the issue of unequal distribution of rural healthcare resources and emphasizes its significance. Using various media, the project showcases the healthcare system of rural doctors and their communities, aiming to promote equal access to healthcare resources, ensure the medical safety of villagers, and raise awareness of necessary improvements in this field.
