THE BRIEF
WOMENSWEAR DESIGN BRIEF
You are challenged to design a contemporary womenswear collection for a modern, urbanite woman aged 25-34 who loves timeless, comfortable and fashion-forward pieces that have a juxtaposition between feminine and utilitarian looks. Your collection must ease our well-travelled woman’s daily sartorial choices, maximising the potential of her day in unequivocally chic ensembles, whether she is working, travelling or pursuing her evolving interest in sustainable living. The concept of rescuing textile waste, re-using these through up-cycling and reimagining fashion may influence your creativity and processes.
MENSWEAR DESIGN BRIEF
You are challenged to design a contemporary menswear collection for an urban, active man aged 18-35 who is concerned about the environment and actively seeks a sustainable wardrobe. Your collection should allow the wearer comfort and style whether in the city or exploring the big outdoors.
