Avantex Fashion Pitch rewards the best innovative fashion and textile projects. This event, held in September 2019, organised by Avantex Paris, the international trade fair for high-tech fashion solutions, and WIRATE, the first crowdrating web platform in France, offers fashion startups international visibility with investors, professionals, medias and, of course, a major prize winner!

THE PRIZE
The winner of the Contest prize will receive the following awards to help him/her further develop his/her project:
- The provision of a startup booth for the AVANTEX exhibition session following the award of the prize worth 2,200 euros excluding VAT
- The recording of a visual pitch (video) worth 1,200 euros excluding VAT
- Choice of training in a catalogue proposed by CETI
- A possible cash sum depending on the sponsors participating in the corresponding edition.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS - WHO ARE AVANTEX LOOKING FOR?
Avantex is looking for innovative projects in the fields of textile clothing and fashion, which fall within at least one of the 5 sectors of the AVANTEX fair:
- Materials & Components
- Finished Product
- Prototyping Process
- Smart Retail
- Digital Printing
HOW TO ENTER
To participate in the Contest, projects must be registered in the AVANTEX Club on the WIRATE web platform
WHAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN YOUR ENTRY
The project presentation file must include at least the following elements:
- Project description
- Link to the project website if available
- Links to candidate's pages on social networks presenting their project and pitch deck.
- It is recommended to complete these elements with a video pitch and a synthetic business plan, as well as any element intended to accurately describe the project and to allow Platform members to be informed as fully as possible about the characteristics of each candidate project.
Participation is limited to one project per individual participant or per team, in the case of a project presented by a team.

TIMELINE
- September 08 2019: deadline for application
- September 18 2019: the project leaders selected will present their project in the form of a pitch (maximum 5 minutes) during the final of the Avantex Fashion Pitch organised on the 18th September 2019 at 4.30pm at the Avantex Paris show at Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, Hall 4. (Participants absent from this presentation session will be disqualified).
At the end of the presentations before a jury composed of recognized professionals from the fashion and entrepreneurship sector, the project with the best average will receive the Contest prize.
The results will be announced at the end of the jury's deliberations during an awards ceremony followed by a cocktail event in the VIP area of the show.
