Written in Their Wings explores the extraordinary journey of monarch butterflies through an illustrated research installation that includes a handmade zine. Combining riso printing, mapping and handmade bookmaking, the project traces their seasonal migration while revealing the fragility and interconnectedness of their lives. Through visual storytelling, it transforms scientific information into an accessible and tactile narrative, inviting viewers to reconsider migration not simply as a natural phenomenon, but as a story of survival, transformation and connection across vast landscapes.

This project explores what justice can mean within Zambian Local Courts. Rather than focusing solely on judging the broader process of justice-making, the environment, the interactions, and the relationships that shape it. The work aims to capture the atmosphere of these moments, translating them into visual forms that can communicate the experience of justice in contexts where photography is not permitted.

Aloneness is often mistaken for loneliness. No One Sees The Rings reflects on solitude as a quiet, generative space. Subtle gestures and intimate domestic scenes form a restrained visual language in which being alone becomes a moment of attention and presence.

A fold-out concertina comic book about living alone for the first time. Through small everyday moments and dry humour, it reflects on the anxieties that once felt overwhelming, and how they gradually became part of a quieter, gentler way of living.

Childhood memories are reflected and reconstructed through an old house, soon to be demolished, evoking a sense of time's fading. The attic holds the most vivid trace: climbing the long staircase in darkness, a flickering candle illuminating each step and gently preserving fragments of memory. The hum of the sewing machine and the creak of the television linger in the mind. Earth and handmade candles give these recollections tangible form — a quiet commemoration and delicate memorial.
