I am a recent Industrial Design graduate from University of New South Wales, passionate about creating solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and social value. My work often starts from user research and evolves through sketching, CAD modelling, and prototyping, with an emphasis on sustainable materials and innovative applications. I believe good design has the power to make everyday life better, and I aspire to contribute my creativity and skills to global design challenges.
AMIKO is an interactive companion designed to support older adults with early-stage dementia and their families. Unlike conventional monitoring devices, AMIKO acts as a “friend,” offering intuitive reminders, emotional companionship, and a warm presence to help users maintain independence and dignity. Built on user research, it integrates emotion recognition, personalized support, and real-time safety monitoring. AMIKO also bridges older adults with dementia to their families, caregivers, and healthcare centres, creating a connected circle of care. More than a device, it represents compassionate 'friend' that empowers people and fosters meaningful connections.
