About
As a designer who comes from a small town in China, I’m always intrigued by investigating the heritage of Chinese culture. I'm interested in exploring the balance between the strength of the human spirit with an openness to fragility. To me, fashion is like a carrier of memory and time, revealing a quiet strength in women. I tend to use fabric experimentation to show natural texture and the trace of time.
My collection is inspired by the distant but intimate relationship between me and my mother. Courage and vulnerability ability is generated, exchanged between us, and guide us through the storm of life. I want to capture this contradictory image of a woman, innocent with mature, fragile but resilient, pursuing freedom with a little stubbornness.
