Ximena Alvarado is a multidisciplinary creative and experiential designer based in Mexico City, working at the intersection of art, technology, and human interaction. Her practice combines creative direction, generative visuals, immersive installations, and audiovisual storytelling to create experiences that explore memory, presence, and the relationship between the body and digital environments.
With a background in graphic design and digital media, she develops projects that blend physical and digital spaces through emerging technologies, interactive systems, and spatial narratives. Her work ranges from cultural installations and projection mapping to brand experiences and experimental audiovisual pieces.
Archivo Vivo is an immersive interactive installation that explores how presence becomes memory through technology. As visitors move through the space, their bodies generate evolving visual traces, creating a living archive that exists only in the moment of interaction. Combining generative media, motion tracking, and spatial storytelling, the project reflects on the body as both witness and creator of memory. Archivo Vivo invites audiences to experience digital space not as a repository of information, but as a place where memory is continuously formed through presence.
