My artistic practice unfolds at the intersections of ecological crisis, climate justice, and political participation. Rooted in transdisciplinary research and collective action, my work manifests through demonstrations, participatory exhibitions, and interactive readings that often generate artistic objects functioning as catalysts for further dialogue. Central to my praxis is the act of connection-building: mapping stories, histories, and possible futures across communities and contexts. Mostly I work in transdisciplinary, transcultural, and at times transspecies collaborative processes, understanding art not as an isolated gesture, but as a shared process that bridges human and non-human life through living practices of care. The projects are grounded in a constant questioning of underlying hierarchies. This is a constant aim to deconstruct and collectively unlearn hegemonial „certainty“.
'a chimeral duet towards the end of time’ is a long-term artistic experiment that explores the relationships between humans and non-human life forms, between individual care and collective responsibility, between self and other. Over the course of a year, a trans-species collaboration between Sulamith Tamborriello and a slime mould culture (Physarum polycephalum) is developing—a process of codependency?, symbiosis?, and transformation?. It is a reflection on hierarchies within transspecies work. This work was realised during my studies at the Zurich University of the Arts.
