Stephanie Höcker is a fashion designer working at the intersection of clothing, natural materials and agriculture.
With a background in sportswear, her practice explores how contemporary garments can emerge from a closer understanding of their material origins. Natural fibres such as linen and wool form the foundation of her work, alongside an ongoing engagement with farming, textile processes and regional knowledge.
Through functional and considered garments, she seeks to reconnect clothing with the landscapes, materials and processes from which it grows, bringing traditional knowledge into dialogue with contemporary design.
intuism.crafts - rethinking value
intuism.crafts — Rethinking Value brings together fashion, agriculture and textile craft, tracing clothing back to the landscapes and materials from which it begins. Rooted in flax cultivation in Tyrol on an alpine farm, the collection explores linen, wool and plant-based processes through running, workwear and everyday garments. Natural fibres, biodegradable coatings, flax stems, onion-skin dyes and plastic-free details become part of an ongoing, careful investigation into function and material origin. Rather than pursuing performance through speed and optimization, the project proposes another kind of value: clothing that creates awareness, encourages connection and keeps the body, material and natural world in dialogue.
