Whether it’s connecting with people or crafting brands, I strive for authenticity in everything I do. I grew up in small towns with humble means, surrounded by hardworking people who still don’t understand what I do for a living. There’s an honesty to their outlook on life. Not concerned with trends or capital, they taught me the value in creating work that connects with people on a human level.
Machine Gaze: human identity flattened by the machine
This master’s thesis is the culmination of seven months of intensive study and analysis exploring the ways human identity is represented by artificial intelligence. With a particular focus on generative AI, Machine Gaze asks us to consider what power we cede when we engage with the machine uncritically.
