Inspired by Afrofuturism, the design aims to integrate African culture and emphasize human compassion. Drawing inspiration from the diverse ethnicities, traditional arts, and elements of futurism on the African continent, I seek to present a future full of vibrancy and hope through unique patterns and colors, all while highlighting a deep respect and appreciation for African culture.
This portfolio showcases a series of unique and creative designs that utilize new materials such generated fibers. plant-based fibers and biodegradable materials. These materials not only fashion industry s demands for texture comfort and versatility but also reduce reliance on animals and lessen the environmental impact. Through innovative material choices and craftsmanship techniques, l aim to present a fashion aesthetic that is both stylish and sustainable.
Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese opera, particularly the "Opera clown" character, I aim to incorporate their comical and humble essence into my menswear designs. This fusion of traditional opera culture with commercial appeal seeks to create a trend inspired by Chinese opera in the fashion market.
