About

I am a forward thinking image maker and marketer using my personal eclectic style to strategically craft brand images, combining relevant market and consumer analysis to produce creative direction in innovative solutions to conceptualise and execute all my work.My practice based degree has supported me in developing the relevant skills for a fast-paced marketing environment, whilst giving me creative freedom to explore my own craft of ceramics. This has led me to creating Our Cherub - my own business - a series of ceramic bags in the shape of various dog breeds.

Our Cherub was created out of the question, are dogs an accessory or a companion? People love their dogs, as do I, and I wanted to create something that was personal and experimental - something that hasn’t been seen before that made you question why as a society there is this adoration. From my extensive research into current and future trends it showed me that for Our Cherub, it is clear there is an opportunity to capitalise on the growing market for maximalist craft with its connections to sustainability and longevity. With that being at the forefront of my designs I created ceramic handbags in the shape of various dog breeds giving the core value of individuality a platform it deserves. Our Cherub provides people with an accessory that can last a lifetime through accelerating your own personal style, expressing your own identity, as well as an item of homeware in which more and more consumers are using interior design as a form of self expression.
