Engineering has always been part of my life, and design was an adventure that I needed to find to embrace my entrepreneurial identity. Throughout my work, you will find my approach to bringing closer the fields of science, engineering and design.I am proud and happy to be in the world of innovation. I come from a country where that opportunity is not always coherent with the expectations and realities of my society. Innovation, I finally found you and I am committed to never letting you go.
Deploy is a project that aims to help rural communities in developing countries that do not have access to clean water, by providing them with an affordable and more sustainable option, as well as, a product that adapts to their water storage needs. Deploy is the first-ever air-deployed, ready-to-use concrete water tank. But, there is a water crisis, 2.2 billion people lack access to safely managed drinking water. SERIOUSLY, it affects every continent. Especially right now, where without access to clean water, millions of people living in vulnerable areas are at risk from infectious diseases like COVID-19. My family has been trying to address this issue in Ecuador over three generations. Now, It was my turn to make a change, therefore, I decided to create a piece of infrastructure for those who are defenseless and yet cannot access life’s most basic need. Each tank has been designed to supply communities from 500 to 2000 people, it has a capacity of 40 000 litres. Deploy with its patent-pending technology is breaking the pre-established notion of concrete infrastructures being inflexible, bulky and heavy as it can be folded, and then packaged. Making it easy to store and transport. Its modularity and transportability enable shipping the product anywhere on the world, something never seen for concrete technologies before or in the water tank industry. DEPLOY is disrupting the industry of water storage.
