I'm Panna, the design student behind the not just objects. account. My work aims to reflect on social phenomena—be it an issue, a way of thinking, or how humanity acts and lives. I believe that at the heart of every successful project there is a process that digs deep into human motivations and reflects on them. That’s why coherence and critical thinking are crucial in my opinion.
As a person, I'm sensitive, communicative, and honest. As a designer, I'm creative and problem-oriented. For me good design is sensitive and honest, without frills.
Panna Room Divider Shelving System – The Panni Shelf, Reimagined
The Panna freestanding shelving system is an evolution of the classic hungarian Panni shelf, designed to meet the needs of today’s multifunctional homes. It builds on the structure of its predecessor but stands independently, allowing it to function as a room divider when placed in a space. By grouping and arranging the modules, multiple configurations can be created, making the system easily customisable and enabling it to serve the space from multiple sides at once. During the design process, I focused on the needs of users in Budapest, as well as cost-effectiveness and simplicity.
