About

Menswear fashion designer, graduating from London college of fashion 2024.

This represents the culmination of my foundational project at Central Saint Martins, where I delved into the exploration of subcultures. My focus was on the fusion of the skateboarding subculture, known for its rebellious and free-spirited nature, with the more refined and intellectual 'smarter' subculture. The aim was to create a unique blend that encapsulates the essence of both worlds.

I am proud to present my collection titled 'Friends and Family' for my brand, 'Harry Palmer'. This collection is a tribute to the close relationships and connections I share with my friends and family. It's a luxury streetwear collection that draws inspiration from these relationships. In the design process, I looked to my friends' favourite garments and outfits, developing a range of styles that I found in their wardrobes. I've also worked to incorporate materials that reflect my family's ethos. This includes upcycling and the use of deadstock fabrics and pre-loved materials, ranging from buttons to old jeans to woollen blankets. My aim with this blend of reused and new materials is to inspire others to consider a similar approach to fashion.

In this second year project I was challenged to design a look that was inspired by the work of Stefan Cooke. This task was not just about interpreting Cooke’s style, but also about integrating the creative contributions of my fellow students (embroidery, knitting).
