About
I’m Mahnur Mirza, a graphic designer from Trier. My greatest passion is typography, typefaces, and everything related to design and layout. During my bachelor’s and master’s studies in communication design at Trier University of Applied Sciences, where I specialized in typography, I focused particularly on how typefaces and design interact and how ideas are transformed into visual concepts.
“Experimental Type Design on Migration” explores how migration can be visually represented through experimental typography. The project includes typographic experiments organized into six phases of the migration process, as well as three typefaces developed from these experiments that address various social and cultural aspects of migration.
