About
From an early age, I have been interested in observing and visually capturing my surroundings. As a filmmaker, I explore different identities and forms of behavior; my interest in people is strongly reflected in my work. In doing so, I try to “read” people without making too many assumptions. I focus on everyday activities that usually go unnoticed.
With my documentary approach, I search for the hidden stories in the world around us. Through short poetic films that evoke a strong sensory experience, I bring these stories to life. I examine how familiar elements, such as daily routines and mental obsessions, relate to human behavior. I capture this in various ways, driven by my fascination with the fragmentary nature of film and the power of careful editing.
I seek the boundary between classical cinematic conventions and my own way of looking at the world, in which I find meaning in the different layers that lie beneath the obvious image. My interest in layering is therefore reflected in the relative abstraction of my work.

This film observes the choreography of a professional kitchen, where gestures, rhythms, and transformations unfold through food. The film reveals how time, care, and labour become embedded in the preparation of a dish, while exploring the boundaries between the process and product, the familiar and unfamiliar. By slowing down the act of looking, the work invites reflection on food as a bodily experience and on the ways we perceive and consume it.
