About
I always work from a fascination with materials and techniques. For me, nothing is too unconventional, and I am constantly looking for new challenges in form, material, and unexpected combinations that are rarely seen in design. This experimental approach is what makes my work unique and distinctive.
With Studio Dwarshuis, I aim to create eyecatchers that bring character to a space and naturally draw attention. I enjoy working with materials such as wood, metal, and casting materials, combining them to create distinctive forms, textures, and patterns.
Raw Willow is a design style expressed through furniture and home accessories that stand out because of their natural, organic appearance combined with clean, matte bio resin that seamlessly connects every element. These objects are created by combining different types of wooden branches with bio resin. During the finishing process, the natural grain and textures of the wood are revealed, creating unique patterns that make every piece one of a kind.
