I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Barcelona, specializing in comprehensive brand packaging, from building flexible, scalable design systems to providing full UI/UX support. My primary goal is to unlock a brand's true potential and solve complex business challenges through visual communication. While I deeply value a classic design foundation, I love pushing boundaries. I actively practice experimental design with a strong focus on typography. To discover unconventional visual solutions, I integrate modern tools into my workflow, including AI production and generative design. On a personal note, I am originally from Ukraine. Interestingly, my name (Ira) translates to "anger" in Spanish, yet in Ukrainian, it carries a sense of peace. This semantic duality has profoundly shaped my approach to work. My favorite design principle is contrast, I love exploring the fine line between strict order and visual chaos, because the most powerful and captivating brands are often born at the intersection of extremes.
Entropic investigates the relationship between order and chaos through the scientific concept of entropy. Using typography as a visual metaphor for structured systems, the project examines how the progressive deformation of letters, from their neutral state to total abstraction, challenges the limits of their functionality and opens new spaces for interpretation. The project follows a five-phase transformation cycle operating across 3 fields: configuration [points], dimension [perspective], and matter [texture]. Through programmed and generative tools, the outcome takes shape in three animated alphabets and a series of physical pieces, seeking a tense visual balance that integrates error and deviation as drivers of diversity and contemporary creative experience.
