Hello! I'm a filmmaker based in Stockholm Sweden who just graduated a Master in Film from HDK Valand!
Film today competes with the smartphone a device that fragments attention and reshapes how we absorb moving images. What happens when the logic of scrolling enters a cinematic format? Between Scrolls is a 14-minute hybrid film exploring phone addiction through the structure and psychology of the feed. Following a protagonist through a single day, it weaves together interviews with children and adults reflecting on phone use, restriction, and dependency. As the protagonist tries to pull away from their phone, the film moves closer to the algorithm and the rhythms of compulsive scrolling.
