I’m a graphic designer originally from sudan, but currently based in qatar. My expertise lies in type design & creating visual systems, with a particular emphasis on typography & editorial design.
I approach my work by delving deep into the subject matter to uncover its essence and present it from a unique perspective. I then translate these findings into various project types, using a poetic & minimalist aesthetic.
"Roaming Emptiness" is a graphical endeavor to visualize the intangible topic ‘emptiness’. Using ancient religious writings & mystical poems, the project seeks to convey complex emotions and ideas through bilingual concrete poetry, emphasizing the expressive aspect of language and its ability to visualize profound emotions & ideas within its limited characters. By exploring different forms and materials, it offers a unique perspective on ‘emptiness’ ... inviting viewers to contemplate the mysteries of existence in a thought-provoking way.
