About
As a new-generation interior designer, I strive to create spaces that elevate human experience through thoughtful, innovative design. I am pursuing a degree in Interior Design at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), where design education is integrated with STEM, giving me a strong foundation in both aesthetics and technical problem-solving. My studies have deepened my understanding of materiality, structure, and sustainability while shaping my ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical, human-centered solutions.
Common Ground explores the possibility of creating a village using interior architecture that brings together living, creative, and tourist functions within Baizhang Town, Yuhang. Inspired by the way bamboos grow in a modular and clustering manner, the design uses asymmetrical units that fit into the environment. Spaces that are semi-translucent and semi-open form a common ground where local inhabitants, artists, and tourists can interact, live, and work together
