About
BA3 Architecture student at Manchester School of Architecture driven by a passion for regenerative and purposeful design, adaptive reuse and the integration of ecology and natural systems within the built environment. My work explores how architecture can act as a catalyst for environmental and social renewal, creating meaningful and atmospheric spaces through careful consideration of materiality, landscape and context, while upholding heritage and culture.
Through research-led projects such as the Museum of Decay, I have investigated themes of long-term stewardship, ecological succession and material lifecycles, developing an approach that balances innovative ambition with environmental responsibility. Alongside my studies, my role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant within MSA’s ADD Digital team has further developed my digital design, presentation and problem-solving skills, while expanding my proficiency across a range of industry standard software.
I am a proactive and collaborative designer who enjoys working at the intersection of creative ambition, technical rigour and environmental responsibility, with a strong interest in shaping architecture that is both inventive and deeply connected to its social and ecological context.
As a columbarium, the Museum of Decay reimagines death not as finality, but as a chance for transformation, connection and commemoration. Mourning is woven into the landscape through biodegradable memorials embedded with seeds, with their gradual erosion transforming personal bereavement into ecological renewal; honouring those lost through the germination of new life. Creating shared spaces for making and placing memorials, the project reshapes grief into moments of appreciation and community. As human presence recedes, built form surrenders agency to nature, the site itself becomes an artefact of former occupation, and the structure now stands as an unmoveable protest of natural reclamation.
