About
Currently a student as London South Bank University studying architecture.
I am passionate about creating narratives within design and providing the user with a personal and meaningful experience when inside the space.
Sustainability is high on my agenda and I aim to create buildings which not only benefit the environment through materials but also the activities carried out inside should represent a sustainable lifestyle.
House of Textile is an apartment block consisting of live / work split level apartments with shared studio spaces for the residents. It is aimed towards young creatives in the fashion industry with an interest in slow fashion. In the center of the apartments is a staircase with hanging washing lines to celebrate textile and provide a sustainable way to dry clothes. The ground floor houses a community textile workshop with drop-off point for old clothes to be re-purposed. Transforming walls open up onto the landscape where market stalls are placed for locals to sell their crafts.
